MINOXIDIL PRECAUTIONS

Side effects can be minimized by keeping dosage amounts to the recommended 1 ml per treatment, 1-2 times per day. The most common side effect is itching of the scalp, all other side effects are very rare and uncommon.

  • Itching

  • Redness on scalp or place of application

  • Slight Inflammation

  • Hypotension/low blood pressure

  • Increase in heart rate at time of application

  • Blurred vision

  • Chest pain

Most of the above side effects are very uncommon and can be treated easily with products such as Emu Oil, Aloe Vera, Prox-N, or Folligen lotion. If you experience any of these side effects while using the product, simply stop the use of minoxidil, and consult a physician.

 

DO NOT USE MINOXIDIL IF YOU:

  • Are currently Pregnant or lactating

  • Under the age of 18

  • Currently use other medications on the scalp

  • Have infected, irritated, painful or sunburned scalp

  • If you have any doubts about using this product, talk to your physician first

AZELAIC ACID PRECAUTIONS

  • Increased sensitivity or irritation on the scalp

  • Burning, stinging, or tingling of the skin

  • Erythema, dryness, rash, peeling happens in less then 1% of patients

  • Side effects usually subside after discontinuing use of Azelaic acid
